The evaluation of your participation in class is, like many forms of assessment, subjective to some degree. However, that does not mean completely arbitrary. In an attempt to bring clarity to what Excellent participation in a discussion means, I have adapted a rubric developed by Prof. Gardner in the Religious Studies department.

At least once every two weeks, I will give you feedback regarding your participation in class, based upon this rubric.
